Beautiful food, all for a great cause.
So it’s been a few weekends since this event occured at Boggy Creek Farm, but I couldn’t not post about it—the food was too good not to share with you.
The Green Corn Project is a grass-roots, volunteer run organization focused on educating Central Texans in need grow their own organic vegetables. They actually install organic food gardens for elderly, low-income, and disabled community members as well as for elementary schools, community centers, and shelters in underserved areas of Austin.
Some of the local businesses and restaurants that were in attendance were Paté Letelier, Confituras, Dripping Springs Vodka, Bola Pizza, Barlata, Hillside Farmacy, Thai Fresh, Foreign & Domestic, Peché, Mulberry, Wink, Olivia, Olive & June, Lenoir, Fino, Asti, Cafe Josie, and the list goes on.
